Portland has looked like a complete different team since entering the bubble in Disney. That is in large part due to the return of big man, Jusuf Nurkic. With him back in the lineup, the Blazers have gone 5-2 since games restarted. Every game has been critical for Portland as the Western Conference has 4 teams still competing for the 8 seed in the playoffs.
Blazer’s superstar, Damian Lillard, has been huge for his team when they have needed it most. In Portland’s win against the Sixers on Sunday, Lillard dropped 51 points and was clutch for the entire 4th quarter. Against Dallas this year, he is averaging over 36 points a game. The Trail Blazers will need that kind of production against a high scoring Mavericks team.

This game against Portland is on the back end of a back to back for the Mavs. They sat Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis against the Jazz on Monday and still walked away with the win. Doncic and Porzingis being well rested is bad news for Portland. Doncic has been unreal this season, averaging over 29 points a game in just his sophomore season. In 3 game versus Portland this year, he is averaging over 30. Since he is well rested and this will be fast paced game, I could see another triple double for Doncic occurring.
