WWE Raw 5/11 Show Preview
The Money In The Bank(MITB) pay per view has come and gone and Raw took home one of the briefcases. Asuka won the women’s MITB match while Smackdown superstar, Otis, won the the men’s. Becky Lynch has promised to confront on Asuka on Raw tonight. Meanwhile, Edge and Randy Orton will continue their rivalry as Edge is determined to seek out Orton. Also at MITB, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre successfully defended his title against Seth Rollins.
Edge And Randy Orton Continue Their Rivalry
Edge and Randy Orton had a brutal match at Wrestlemania last month. “The Rated R Superstar” prevailed after a long, hard fought match. The match was so brutal that both superstars have not been on Raw since. But Edge and Orton will return tonight for the next chapter of their feud. The Raw preview has said that Edge will “hunt” Randy Orton. Although Edge beat Orton at “Mania, he seems to not be content with the damage he did to Orton in that match. Orton is one of the most dangerous superstars in WWE history so this plan could backfire on Edge. The “hunter” could end up becoming the “hunted” on Raw tonight.
Becky Lynch Calls Out Women’s MITB Winner
Another rivalry being rekindled tonight on Raw is Becky Lynch versus Asuka. Becky Lynch and Asuka have had plenty of great matches in the last two years with both women trading wins. With Asuka winning the women’s MITB match last night, she is now on the radar of the Raw Women’s Champion. Lynch calling out Asuka on Raw is a good strategy. Lynch knows MITB winners notoriously cash in their contracts when the champion is at their weakest and she is trying to figure out Asuka’s gameplan for the contract. Regardless, another feud between Lynch and Asuka is a great way to get WWE through the early summer months.
