Philly needs to clean up their defense and fast because you need defense to win games, especially in their division.
Carter Hart needs to step up for Philly. For Philly to go far in the playoffs Hart’s numbers need to be better than what they are.
Carter Hart is 7-6-3 with a 3.75 GAA and .880 save%. That is not good. enough to be a number one goalie for a playoff team.
The Flyers have the Islanders number so far this year. Philly is 3-0-0 against New York this year.

Before going into Tuesday’s matchup Vs Washington, Islanders were on a 9-game winning streak and had points in 12 straight games. (11-0-1)
New York has now lost two in a row and are 1-2 since losing captain Andres Lee to a torn ACL.
