NFL Week One 2020 With StatementGames

Football is finally here! 2020 has been one of the most chaotic years in the history of this country but football fans everywhere can rejoice! The 2020 NFL season has started on time and will go on as scheduled. While the games will be taking place, there will be very few to no fans at all in the stadiums so the atmosphere will be very different for the foreseeable future. StatementGames has 4 FREE TO PLAY tournaments for Sunday’s games so let’s take a quick peak at those.

Fantasy Football

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills (-6.5) – 1:05 PM EST (O/U 39)

The New York Jets head to upstate New York to face the Buffalo Bills. Stephon Diggs makes his anticipated debut for the Bills while on the opposing side, Jets QB, Sam Darnold, enters his sophomore season ready to prove he is the real deal to the entire NFL. Both the Jets and Bills played in a lot of low scoring games last year so expect a battle of defenses here. Pick – Total PTS UNDER 40.5

Philadelphia Eagles (-5) vs. Washington Football Team – 1:05 PM EST (O/U 42.5)

Carson Wentz leads the Eagles to the D.C. area to play the unnamed Washington Football Team. Wentz is hoping to stay healthy this season and lead his team back to the NFL Playoffs. Washington QB, Dwayne Haskins, looks to improve on his rookie season where he threw 7 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Philadelphia has the better overall team here and Wentz has not lost to the Washington since his 2016 rookie season. Pick – Carson Wentz OVER 1.5 TD Passes

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints (-3.5) – 4:25 PM EST (O/U 47.5)

This is probably the biggest game in Week One of 2020 NFL season. Future Hall Of Fame QB, Tom Brady, makes his highly anticipated debut for the Bucs against the Drew Brees and the Saints. These are two of the greatest QBs of all time and both these offenses can do big damage. Besides his many Super Bowl appearances, this is probably one of the biggest games of Brady’s career. After spending his entire career in New England, all eyes will be Brady in Week One. Pick – Total PTS OVER 49.5

Dallas Cowboys (-2) vs. Los Angeles Rams – 8:20 PM EST (O/U 51.5)

Dak Prescott will be a man on a mission when his Cowboys play the Rams on NFL Sunday Night Football. Prescott’s contract negotiations with Dallas have been one of the big stories of the NFL this past off-season. He believes he should be one of the top paid players in the league so he out to prove his worth. The Rams are looking for a bounce back season after being mediocre last year. Both QBs will be airing the ball out in this game so don’t be surprised if it’s a high scoring affair. Pick – Dallas Cowboys Will WIN By OVER 2.5 PTS
