Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks Series/Game Five Preview
It’s Game Five of the Eastern Conference Semifinals match-up between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks. Miami is one game away from advancing to the next round after dominating the top seed Bucks in 3 out of the first 4 games. The Bucks narrowly escaped with the victory in game 4 but it looks like they might have lost their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, for at least game 5.
Heat
Like it or not, the Miami Heat are going to win this series. They have outplayed the opposition in EVERY game in the playoffs and only lost game 4 because Khris Middleton finally stepped up for Milwaukee. As long as Miami keeps getting great production from everyone who takes the court, they should dispatch of the short-handed Bucks in game 5. Don’t expect big points from star, Jimmy Butler, as he has been the play-maker for the team. Goran Dragic has been hitting some big shots in this series so that should continue in game 5 as long as they ride his hot hand. And with the great defense being played in this series, Bam Adebayo should continue to grab plenty of boards.
Bucks
There is a good chance Milwaukee will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for game 5 and I don’t know if that is necessarily a bad thing. Sure, he is one of the best basketball players on the planet but he has been taking too many bad shots in this series. Those shots have proven costly for the Bucks and if Giannis is their go-to option, that trend will continue. Now is the time for Khris Middleton to break out. He needs to put the Bucks on his back and match his performance from game 4. If that happens, we could possibly see a game 6 but like I said, it all comes down to Middleton.
