This a battle of two teams going in different directions. The Warriors are trying to keep their hot shooting alive especially Steph Curry, to carry them into the playoffs and win a couple games in the play-in round to make in there. Houston, ever since trading James Harden have been the worst team in the NBA. Now with the worst record in the NBA are playing for the pick.
Steph Curry is leading the way once again for Golden State averaging over 30 points a game. Just came off a crazy stretch that we haven’t seen since the late great Kobe Bryant scored 30+ points in ten straight games. He put himself in the MVP race.
A couple years ago this was a a battle to see who was going to the finals, alot has changed since 2019. Warriors have no Klay Thompson or Kevin Durant, while Houston has no James Harden or Chris Paul.
Golden State Warriors
As long as you have a player like Steph Curry on your team you have a chance to win games. He has kept them afloat all year long, and in this play in round race as they sit in the last spot in the playoff race.
Warriors are up three games on New Orleans for the last spot in the play-in round. With nine games remaining in the regular season they most likely will be the 10th seed as long as they don’t collapse.
Golden State are led by Steph Curry 31.3 points a game,Andrew Wiggins who is averaging 18.1 points and 4.8 rebounds a game. While Mr. do it all Draymond Green is averaging 6.6 points, 8.6 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game.
A big loss for Golden State was number 2 overall pick James Wiseman. He only played in 39 games while averaging close to 12 points a game. With him he could be a difference maker.

Houston Rockets
It has been a long year for Houston, but they have had some bright spots from some young players that will be key pieces in the future.
The trade for Kevin Porter Jr will turn out huge. On Thursday night he dropped 50 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds in the upset win of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Another young asset that has been a surprise all year is Jae’Sean Tate. After playing overseas for a couple years Tate finally came back over and is producing. In 63 games Tate is averaging 11.2 points, 2.3 assists and 5.4 rebounds game. Sleeper for rookie of the year.
This has been a disaster of a year for Houston, but most likely getting the number one overall pick in the different will be getting a difference maker to go along with Porter Jr, Tate and John Wall
