Panthers Vs Predators will be their second game of a back-to-back in Nashville. Florida is looking to sweep the back-to-back, after a 5-4 win on Thursday night.
Florida Panthers
The Panthers are one of the surprise teams in the NHL this year. With a 14-4-4 record 1 point out of first place in the Central Division.
In the Panthers most recent win over the Predators Aaron Ekblad lead the way for Florida with four points, two goals and two assists.
After going big in free agency in 2019 for goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. He has struggled ever since he has arrived. Has never been that goalie he once was in Columbus, but with a shortened season he is splitting time between the pipes with Chris Driedger.
Both goalies have an even split on the season. Both having 11 starts each on the season.
The defense for Florida has always been the problem for them to take the next step. Panthers have enough offense to compete with anyone but if they don’t have defense and their goalie show up, they wouldn’t be where they are right now.

Nashville Predators
Nashville is one of the big disappointments on the season. Preds are 2-2 in their last four games but can’t get over the hump in the bottom half of the Central division.
Nashville is led on offense by Filip Forsberg but he is one of the only players producing for Nashville on the offensive end.
One of the big disappointments for Nashville is Matt Duchene. Who they signed to a big contract in 2019 free agency. He was supposed to help take the load off of Forsberg but he hasn’t produced. Duchene signed a 7 year 56 million contract.
With Nashville struggles they are looking to be sellers. Everyone is available for them, even Forsberg. Forsberg can get them a big return, but will they actually trade him.
Forsberg on Nashville slow starts “I wasn’t great at all in the first. There’s something that we have to fix and pretty quick.”
