Farmers Insurance Open – 3 PGA Players To Watch
Marc Leishman – the defending Farmers Champion is back in form! He played well in the Masters and tied for fourth in the Sony Open in Hawaii two weeks ago. Now he’s in the ideal place to keep his momentum going. In addition to winning last year, when he overcame a four-shot deficit at the start of the final round with a 7-under-par 65 to beat Rahm by one shot, Leishman’s finished second twice and tied for eighth at past Torrey Pines events.
“It reminds me a lot of home, the grasses that are at Torrey Pines here I grew up on at Warrnambool (Australia),” Leishman said.
Jason Day – is a two-time Farmers Insurance champion and will make his 2021 debut at Torrey Pines with a Frankenstein bag set up and a new swing as he looks to return to the top of the PGA TOUR.
Day, who won the Farmers Insurance Open in 2015 and 2018, will start the year as an equipment free agent after being with TaylorMade since 2006. He also started working with instructor Chris Como on swing changes to limit the back pain that he has battled over the last decade. Day worked with Colin Swatton for two decades before the pair parted ways last season.

Garry Woodland – is now pain free. Upon looking back at The American Express –
“I borderline want to cry. It’s the first time I’ve played without pain in six months,” Woodland said following his final round at The American Express. “I got out of pain about three weeks ago and wanted to test it out. I was rusty, but it was great.”
