AEW Dynamite 3/25 Show Preview
AEW Dynamite continues on with an empty arena for the second straight week. Last week’s Dynamite got rave reviews even though there were no fans in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dynamite has a full card this week as they continue to bring new content to people that definitely need it during this stressful time in the world. The highly anticipated “Blood & Guts” match was supposed to take place this week but that has been postponed until further notice.
Chris Jericho/Matt Hardy Face to Face
Matt Hardy made his AEW debut on Dynamite last week and entered straight into a feud with Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle. AEW has promised to follow up with last week’s angle by having Hardy and Jericho meet face to face this week on Dynamite. Both men, when given creative control and flexibility, have proven to be two of the best in the business on the mic. This segment should be very entertaining if given enough time. And seeing as Jericho is involved, it will.
Cody vs. Jimmy Havoc
Jimmy Havoc has a lot to prove in his match against one of AEW’s biggest stars, Cody. Havoc’s record this year of 1-3 does not show his true potential but he needs to start rattling off wins soon. With AEW’s win/loss structure, his record is not doing him any favors and shows where he ranks in the company as of now. Cody, on the other hand, will always be a made man in AEW. A loss on Dynamite to Havoc would not hurt him but does not seem likely.

In addition to wrestling Jimmy Havoc, Cody is rumored to be guest announcing on Dynamite this week. Another big match taking place on Dynamite is the Lucha Bros vs. the Best Friends in a Parking Lot Brawl match. Also announced for the show, Kenny Omega will be defending his AAA Mega Championship against Sammy Guevara. Expect both those matches to get a decent amount of time since all the stars involved can work great matches.
