WWE Raw 4/27 Show Preview
WWE Raw continues to build towards the Money In The Bank(MITB) pay per view this Monday night. The WWE Universe is less than two weeks away from the big show and intrigue is building for it. Fans now know all the Raw participants for the MITB matches after last week’s episode. We also know that WWE Champion , Drew McIntyre, will be defending his title against Seth Rollins. The contract signing for that match will happen on this edition of Raw.
WWE Championship Match Contract Signing
Raw’s main feature this week will be the contract signing between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins for a WWE Championship match at MITB. Seth Rollins made it known two weeks ago that he wants McIntyre’s newly won title by curb stomping the champion twice in a sneak attack. Since losing to Kevin Owens at Wrestlemania, Seth Rollins has become unhinged and is looking to move past that big loss by winning Raw’s main title.
In his first month as WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre has been highly entertaining. He looks to be the babyface champion WWE has been searching for for years. He is very likable and seems very passionate about being a fighting champion. It’s really too bad his first run with the big belt is during this “social distancing” time in our country. With the great work he has been doing, McIntyre deserves to hear the cheers the crowd would be showering him right now.
McIntyre versus Rollins is going to be a great match so I assume the contract signing will be entertaining as well. Expect these two to come to blows as most contract signings end with the competitors fighting each other.
New Matches Announced For Money In The Bank?
The Raw brand currently has only one match announced for the MITB pay per view. With the show only being two weeks away, it’s safe to assume we will get more clarity to the rest of the Raw side of the card. It looks like the Street Profits will defend their tag titles against the War Raiders. There have been many mentions on TV as of late that the Street Profits have never beaten the War Raiders so that feud looks to be brewing.
Arguably Raw’s biggest star, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, does not have a match yet and it is rare for her to be left off a major show. And the United States Champion, Andrade, is also without a match at MITB so expect a challenger to come forward to face the budding superstar. Even with limited talent due to the pandemic, Raw has a ton of good options for fresh match-ups at MITB.
