WWE Raw 3/30 Show Preview
Raw emanates from the WWE Performance Center again this week with social distancing protocols still in effect throughout the country. It is the final Raw before Wrestlemania 36 this upcoming weekend and all the big stars will be in the building. Raw occupies half the match card on ‘Mania but there are three in particular that will have final builds on this edition of Raw. Expect this to be a very promo heavy show as that is what is typical right before a Wrestlemania.
Brock Lesnar Makes An Appearance
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is not a man of many words but you better believe his advocate, Paul Heyman, will have plenty to say on the last Raw before Wrestlemania. Lesnar will put his title on the line against Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania and it is one of the most anticipated matches on the card. After winning the Men’s Royal Rumble, McIntyre wasted no time announcing Lesnar as his opponent. This match was the first made for ‘Mania so the belief is Raw wants a new megastar in McIntyre. Hopefully McIntyre can get some mic time as well on this show as he has not been live in weeks.
Becky Lynch Addresses Shayna Baszler
“The Man” Becky Lynch will address her ‘Mania opponent on this edition of Raw. Ever since Shayna Baszler beat Becky Lynch and Bayley at Survivior Series last year, fans have clamored for a match between Lynch and Baszler. Now it will happen in less than one week. Baszler has shown that she potentially is the most dangerous opponent Lynch has ever faced. Both women have blindsided each other with attacks the last two months and I expect for that to happen one last time on Raw as that seems to be the trend with these two.
Edge and Randy Orton In The Same Building?
The match between Edge and Randy Orton is without a doubt the most anticipated match of Wrestlemania. It will be Edge’s first singles match since Wrestlemania in 2011, after which he had to retire due to neck issues. Randy Orton has made this feud so personal after attacking Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix, on Raw a month ago. Both men have been fantastic on the mic building this match up and this will be the first time in weeks that both men will be in the same building. Expect fireworks if these two share a segment on Raw.
