The Cleveland Indians dropped the rubber game of their 3 games series Vs the Red Sox, falling 5-1 on Wednesday.   The New York Yankees assaulted the Baltimore Orioles, sweeping a four-game series and are 8-2 in last 10 with a commanding 10 game lead in the AL East.

Adam Plutko takes the ball for his 13th appearance and 12th start of the season for the Indians in this matchup. He is 4-3 with a 4.68 ERA, a 1.194 WHIP, 10 walks and 39 K’s over 65.1 innings of work on the year. Plutko took the loss in his last start, which came Saturday on the road against the Twins. Green didn’t factor in the decision in his last outing, which came in a start Monday at home against the Orioles.
