AEW Dynamite 6/24 Show Preview
This week’s Dynamite is all about the final build for the two night Fyter Fest event. Fyter Fest will take place on July 1st and July 8th and every AEW Championship will be on the line. The match card is shaping up very nicely and I’m sure this week’s Dynamite will add a couple of additional matches to round it out. There’s still tons of action to be had before Fyter Fest and this show has a great card.
FTR will look to build off their great debut match as they face SCU. Luchasaurus and Wardlow will finally face off in the ring surrounded by other wrestlers in a lumberjack match. Also on this show, AEW Championship number one contender, Brian Cage, will be in action as well as the AEW Women’s Champion, Hikaru Shida. Matt Hardy will go one on one with Santana of the Inner Circle. And lastly, Brodie Lee will team with Colt Cabana to face Joey Janela & Sonny Kiss.
Luchasaurus vs. Wardlow – Lumberjack Match
Luchasaurus and Wardlow are two of the best up and coming big men in All Elite Wrestling. So when they face off on Dynamite this week, it’s a match between two men with a lot to prove. Luchasuarus’ stable, Jurassic Express, have had problems with Wardlow and his “boss,” MJF, for months now. MJF is the biggest trash talker in AEW due to the fact that he has the big man, Wardlow, to back him up. Jurassic Express, especially Luchasaurus, has had enough of the talk and now it’s time to fight.
To make sure Luchasaurus and Wardlow stay in the ring, the match will be a lumberjack match. That means the ring will be surrounded with AEW superstars that have the sole purpose of keeping these two big men in the ring. But with Fyter Fest a week away, the outcome of this match will probably lead to Jurassic Express versus MJF & Wardlow at the event. Neither of these men should be taking a loss right now so I’m going to a no contest to set up that Fyter Fest match.
