AEW Dynamite 6/10 Show Preview
This week’s Dynamite will feature the highly anticipated in-ring debut of the tandem simply known as “FTR.” Since being released from the WWE, wrestling fans have been waiting for the duo formerly known as the Revival to wrestle in AEW. They will face The Butcher & The Blade after back to back weeks of altercations with them.
Also on this week’s Dynamite, Orange Cassidy & the Best Friends will face the Inner Circle in a six man tag match. This match was made after Orange Cassidy interrupted an Inner Circle promo last week that was meant for Mike Tyson. Cody will have his weekly TNT Championship defense against Marq Quen of Private Party. Other scheduled matches are Sammy Guevara against Colt Cabana and Nyla Rose & Penelope Ford versus Kris Statlander & AEW Women’s Champion, Hikaru Shida.
FTR vs. The Butcher & The Blade
FTR is finally in AEW and this week they will have their first match against The Butcher & The Blade. FTR wanted to come to AEW because they know the best tag teams in the world reside in All Elite Wrestling. They consider themselves the best tag team on the planet and are ready to prove it. The Butcher & The Blade will be a good first match-up for them.
Butcher & Blade came into AEW in a big way by attacking Cody last year but have fallen off the map recently. If anything, being in FTR’s first match in AEW will make them relevant again. This match is all about showcasing FTR and will probably have them performing all of their signature moves so their new fanbase can get acquainted with them. A new era of tag team wrestling will begin on Dynamite and AEW will be better because of it.
Best Friends & Orange Cassidy vs. The Inner Circle
The Inner Circle have moved on from their feud with the Elite for the time being and now have issues with another group. When Inner Circle leader, Chris Jericho, called out “The Baddest Man On The Planet” last week, he was expecting Mike Tyson. What he got however was Orange Cassidy. Orange Cassidy proceeded to embarrass the Inner Circle. So now this week, Inner Circle members Jake Hager, Santana, and Ortiz will be face Orange Cassidy and his buddies, The Best Friends.
Out of all the matches on Dynamite this week, this one is the most intriguing because of the different match-ups that can occur. Some of these men are facing each other for the first time and all of them are very gifted in the ring. This is the match that will probably be given the most time on the card. The Inner Circle needs a big win after losing at Double or Nothing so expect them to walk away with the victory here.
