AEW Dynamite 9/2 Show Preview
It’s the final Dynamite before AEW ALL OUT this Saturday and AEW plans to deliver another excellent edition of the show. Dynamite is back on Wednesday night this week after moving to different nights the past two week due to the NBA Playoffs. The rivalry between Santana & Ortiz and Best Friends continues as they face off against each other once again. 4 teams will face off in an 8 man tag team match with the winning side facing off at ALL OUT.
Also on Dynamite, AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley, will get his hands on MJF’s lawyer, Mark Sterling, when they have an official match. Chris Jericho will have a tune up match against Joey Janela Wednesday night before he faces Orange Cassidy in the first ever Mimosa Mayhem match at ALL OUT. Lastly, NWA Women’s Champion, Thunder Rosa, makes her anticipated AEW in-ring debut.
Santana & Ortiz vs. Best Friends
Santana & Ortiz and Best Friends have been feuding for some time now but things escalated when Santana & Ortiz destroyed Trent’s mom’s mini van. Since then, the two teams have been at each other’s throats and this match looks to be the finale of their feud. Just looking at the tag team division in AEW right now, it seems like the heel teams have had more momentum behind them so that’s why I see Best Friends winning this match. I think FTR dethrones Kenny Omega & Adam Page this weekend so they will need face teams to wrestle after that. A Best Friends’ win here validates them challenging the champs in the near future. With all the time that has been put into this feud, expect it to get a good amount of time on the show.
8 Man Tag Team Match – Winning Teams Will Face Off At ALL OUT
This 8 man tag team match should be a lot of fun. But let’s be honest, the winners of this match are obvious. The Young Bucks will not be left off the ALL OUT card and a match between them and Jurassic Express SCREAMS pay per view opener. SoCal Uncensored without Scorpio Sky seem to be becoming guys that put over younger, fresher talent. And while Private Party is a great up and coming tag team, a match between them and SoCal Uncensored at ALL OUT is not a match many want to see. The losers of this match will probably enter the Casino Battle Royal match so all will not be lost. With 8 men involved in this match, this will probably be the longest match on Dynamite this week.
