2019 WWE SummerSlam – Hot Take’s
In prepping for this event our handicappers have been able to gleam some great information from various sources. To start, the team has learned from Ringside News that Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar are going to put on a show! Unlike their last confrontation at WrestleMania 35, this match will be longer and show off both men’s abilities. We were not able to pick up any insight tips on the match result but confident this battle is not going to be short.
It has been reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Finn Balor requested and was granted two months of time off following SummerSlam. That seems to indicate that his match against Bray Wyatt (and Wyatt’s new alter-ego, “The Fiend”), will swing in Wyatt’s favor. Since Balor has already checked out… we expect this match to be short and sweet so that SummerSlam can move on to bigger and better things.
For weeks, it was rumored that Goldberg would be appearing at SummerSlam, his first appearance since a mistake-ridden match against the Undertaker in Saudi Arabia. Those rumors were proven true this past Monday on the latest episode of Raw, when Goldberg showed up to challenge Dolph Ziggler to a match at SummerSlam. This match will not do much to advance or promote the next generation of WWE talent, but it’s the sort of marquee, big-name match that draws eyeballs to the product. Expect Goldberg to walk away with the win and entertain in the process.
