Three Mini Camp New York Jets Headlines

  1. Josh McCown & Teddy Bridgewater – Keeping quarterback Josh McCown and signing Teddy Bridgewater is an important headline.  It provides experience at the position.  It also gives the team the option of allowing rookie QB Sam Darnold to learn from the bench this season.
  2. Jamal Adams –  Last years rookie standout needs to become a true defensive leader.  Last season Jamal recorded 83 tackles, 2 sacks and 6 pass deflections in 16 starts.  He recently told SNY “The locker room energy, is through the roof”.  Watch to see if his mini-camp enthusiasm transfers into on-field leadership.
  3. Running Back Position – The New York Jets recently picked up Isaiah Crowell from Cleveland and Thomas Rawls from Seattle. These two players will be compete to become the teams main back.   However, in this day and age of football.. expect both to see plenty of action. The team also brought back Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire.  Both produced little in terms of statistical productivity in 2017.  Combining these two with sixth round draft pick Trenton Cannon shows plenty of competition at the position.

The official start of training camp is July 24, 2018.  Until then… keep building the coin balance by playing StatementGames Fantasy Baseball!
